OLIVE GROVE IN SAN VINCENZO

The favourable North-West/South-East exposure means that the sunlight and the air flow offered by the environment are beneficial for crops, and olive trees in particular, with disease problems being rare.

At present the company has a mixed production system, characterised by the cultivation of olive trees, the production of IGT extra virgin olive oil with Agriqualita label from the Region Toscana, which attests to its quality, as well as being certified ORGANIC by ECOGRUPPO ITALIA.

Currently the company has 2500 olive plants spread over an area of around 13 hectares.

From 2008 the company has had its own 2-phase ALFA-LAVAL mill, which has a productive capacity of around 5 quintals/hour, where our own olives are pressed. The extracted oil is preserved in stainless steel vats in a temperature-controlled environment.

The company produces the energy needed to meet the requirements of the machinery via solar panels on the roof of the mill and uses limited amounts of public water, as the mill does not require the further addition of water during the separation phase for the extraction process.

Always looking to save energy, the company is has a wind pump to provide the water needed for cultivation (family vegetable garden and orchard).

The oil is packaged in bottles, boxes and tins and with private labels also, upon request.
